The design for this stadium came from manipulations with a rectangle prism structure. The parallel supports are made to accent the tapered structure. The glass exterior provides the opportunity for a variable colored facade. The design includes two retractable roof panels.

Untitled Baseball Stadium 13
This is a stylized preview of a baseball stadium I designed which i am still working on. It is the 13th baseball oriented stadium i have designed. Still to add to the design is exterior, overhang covering, scoreboard finalization, stadium entrances, interiors, and added detail to apartment/hotel building in left field. You will notice that above the right field stands i have begun the support system and exterior design.
Inspiration for this particular stadium design came from the different integrations of buildings that can be found in stadiums like Orioles Park at Camden yards, Petco park, and the hotel at Rogers Centre. It is designed to grasp the connection a sporting venue can have with its urban environment. This includes creating functions of the park which can be used in the offseason. I have included a restaurant/club in right center field with a oversized patio for viewing during games. The building i incorporated into the design includes suites, offices for team management, a hotel, and possibly permanent tenants. I plan to use a more modern fluid style for the outside of the park. In center field i plan to design a open plaza with possible water functions and greenery. This will be accessed by an open air entrance.

New Soldier Field
A mixed use (soccer/football) stadium inspired loosely by Chicago's Soldier Field expansion. Other inspirations include wind streamlines, hinges/joints, and expandable fans. The left grandstands are modeled after the stand out of the new Cowboy stadium. Possible exterior materials include a lightweight translucent tarp material. This would allow a metal frame to properly support the structure. It would also allow the possibility of a variable color lighted facade similar to the Allianz Arena in Munich.
-created in Sketchup with the application of various styles
